The World's Best Multinational Workplaces 2013, announced by Great Place To Work(R)

Great Place to Work ® announced its third annual 25 World's Best Multinational Workplaces List during a live online broadcast event today. Since launching the first best workplaces lists in partnership with FORTUNE magazine in the United States and Exame in Brazil in 1997, Great Place to Work® now recognizes leading workplaces in nearly 50 countries. Great Place to Work ® selected the world’s best from nearly 6,200 companies that participated in Best Workplaces competitions during late 2012 to mid-2013 in the 45 countries. Together, these companies employ more than 11.9 million employees, making the annual Great Place to Work study the largest of its kind in the world. More than 1,000 multinational corporations participated globally in these surveys. Of these, 517 appeared on one of national Best Workplaces lists, 37 passed  additional eligibility criteria for the World’s Best Multinational Workplaces list. CAG ON INADEQUACY OF TOURISM SECURITY FORCE IN GOA

For beefing up the tourist safety and security standard in the state a comprehensive scheme was drawn up by the department to constitute the Tourism Security Force in September 2008 and liaison with the police, health department and prevent illegal hawkers and traders, the department appointed only 24 tourist wards. In its report of March 2011-2012, CAG has pointed out that inspite of this framework proposed in 2008, TSF was formed only in September 2011. On 10th August 2011, Tourism director Swapnil Naik had stated that Goa was going to be the first state to have full-fledged tourist security force reporting directly to tourism department. Its hard to get services patented. There are very few examples which I could locate. Its interesting to note that a process can be patented easier than the services itself.
